Questions are very important to ask when talking to a graphic designer. Don’t be afraid to ask as many or as little questions as possible. Here are six top questions to get you started.
Do you have an examples?
Asking for previous work that the designer has done or photos of work are a great start. You can see if their designs would fit your needs.
What do you need to know about me?
When a graphic designer is working on your website, they will need to know the basics about you and your business, but also things you like. Do you prefer specific colors over others? Do you like modern feel? These are things you should put out there first for them.
Knowing all of what’s included in your package is highly important. You want to make sure you are getting the best package for you and your company for the right price.
What’s the process?
Asking the process from start to finish will give you a good idea of the timeline, how many options you will get to look at, how many round of revisions.
Do you have any testimonials?
They may not be visual like a portfolio, but they are extremely important. Hearing from previous clients can give you a good insight on the process, and how they felt once they had their final product.
